A website a day – Day 1

We’ve been so busy over the last 6 months, many of the big projects we started last year are finally coming to a close and we had to start a load more projects due to the recent school summer holidays resulting in many of our customers going on holiday – anyway, we seem to have got ourselves in a situation that we’ve never been in before!

So, this week we’re having an entire week of making websites live – and we aim to add one website a day to our web design portfolio and blog about each project as it is launched.

Some of the recent projects we have been working on have been rebuilds of existing customer websites and it’s really been a privilege to have been able to work with these awesome people as they have grown and adapted their businesses -with our help – and embraced the internet.

Website No1 – Monday – Broadoake M1

The first website in the series is a rebuild of Broadoake who have been a customer of ours since 2009. They are based in Bolsover and take care of people’s Windows, Doors, Conservatories and other products that fall under the ‘home improvement’ banner. They have an amazing showroom in Bolsover and thanks to their great customer service and competitive pricing they’ve stood the test of time and are still going strong today whereas many of their competitors have folded due to hard times over the last few years.

Now, armed with a new range of products and a refreshed online and offline image Broakoake M1 are ready to take on the next stage of their business life – head on!

We originally built their site in 2009, and that was built in wordpress with various customisations to allow them to have it set out the way they wanted. This time round we have gone one step further and FULLY customised the back-end of the site so its VERY easy for the team to add content, images and updates themselves.

Part of the brief this time round was to make the site mobile friendly too – so we made it fully responsive meaning that no matter what size screen you look at, the site “fits”.

Our in-house team ensured all the content was laid out correctly and the pages look designed too resulting in a simple, yet striking modern website.

Tomorrow we will be discussing an online shop we’ve just  launched – thanks for reading and please share this article.
