Frequently Asked Questions

1. What’s the difference between a page and a post in WordPress?

A page is for static information that doesn’t change often, like About Us or Contact. A post is used for blog articles, news updates, or time-based content. Posts can also be sorted into categories and tags.

2. Can I edit my website without it going live straight away?

Yes. WordPress lets you save your work as a draft or use the Preview button to see changes before publishing. You can also update existing content and it won’t go live until you click Update.

3. Do I need coding skills to use WordPress and WooCommerce?

No. WordPress is designed for non-technical users. The block editor allows you to add text, images, videos, and products without touching code. However, if you want advanced customisation, you might need help from a web developer.

4. How do I reset my WordPress password if I forget it?

On the login page, click Lost your password? Enter your email address or username, and WordPress will send you a password reset link. If you don’t get the email, check your spam folder or contact your website administrator.

5. How do I add images to my posts, pages, or products?

When editing content, click the + icon to add a new block and choose Image. You can upload a file from your computer, select one from the Media Library, or insert from a URL. For products, you’ll also find dedicated options for Product Image and Product Gallery on the right-hand side.
