Facebook Deny Losing Users
Following news that Facebook’s user numbers have dropped in the UK, USA, Norway and Russia, Facebook have come out denying they are losing customers and say they are ‘pleased’ with growth.
The figures claimed that 6million US users and 100,000 UK users left the social networking site were described as being taken from their advertising service which only offers very broad estimates on user numbers and that they should not be used to track the websites overall growth.
They also said “We are very pleased with our growth and with the way people are engaged with Facebook. More than 50% of our active users log on to Facebook in any given day,” and they have every reason to be happy, with the numbers still growing to 687million users despite apparently losses.
