Google+ Reaches 20 Million Users
Following news last week that Google’s new social network, Google+, had reached over 10 million users, it has again broken another barrier, reaching 20 million users in only 3 weeks according to statistics on from ComScore.
These figures are rather incredible, considering that the service was released as invitation only, and will make for good reading to those at Google, as these numbers and the fact that Google+ has been well received suggesting that this could finally be a solid social network from the search giant, with a long shelf life.
Despite these 20 million users – 870,000 in the UK – Google+ still has a long way to go to take on the might of Twitter and Facebook, with the latter having an estimated 750 million worldwide users, and 30 million in the UK alone, however, Google will still be enjoying the early positive signs.
